About Us
Nick Young, owner and founder of Sequoia Landscape and Waterfalls, has always been a passionate outdoorsman. He received his Bachelor of Science in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and opened Sequoia Landscape and Waterfalls directly after graduating college.
Nick and his team are seasoned landscape and waterfeature experts, with an emphasis on design, construction, and maintenance. Sequoia Landscape is licensed with the California Contractors State License Board (C-27), bonded, and insured.
Nick is a long-time resident of Mill Valley, CA and lives with his son and dog Ranger.

Like many in the area we had a “dead hill” of sloped space behind our house that was basically where toys and balls went to die. After interviewing a number of landscapers we went with Nick, due to his deep connections to Marin and decades of experience dealing with our terrain and climate. He provided end to end services, from developing a drawing, to the actual construction of the pathway and steps, installation of the beautiful hardscaping, and all of the plants/irrigation/lighting.
